* Over 90 degrees on outdoor summer events, Viol Consort may not wear tuxedo, different attires are available.

Marvelous Viol Consort!
After a pianist acquaintance of my husband we had hired to play at our wedding ceremony, unexpectedly let us down few days before the big day, I immediately contacted Sam at Viol. We had seen Viol Consort play at a local wedding expo, and fell in love hearing them play a beautiful rendition of The Cranberries “Dreams”. I was surprised that Sam replied to my message right away! He put my heart and mind at ease and got me a quote for their services immediately. He had my best interest at heart, and while they were already booked for that day, he made a few calls to ensure I would get the service for my wedding ceremony. While the price of the pianist we had hired was low, so was his customer service skills. Sam at Viol understood my budget, and made a great effort to give me the best price they could. Classy, professional, flexible, great communication. Viol saved my event and my life! I had the most wonderful experience with Viol and I will forever be grateful to them. Viol Consort sounds amazing!
Hired Viol Consort for my wedding (ceremony and cocktail hour), they did a beautiful job. I had specially requested a Rolling Stones song for walking down the aisle, Sam and his team were happy to learn the song and it sounded lovely. Sam is very professional and helpful. Viol would be a great addition to any wedding or social event.

Does Viol Consort play outdoors?
Yes, we play outdoors, but not under the direct ray of sun, nor rainy day.
Does Viol Consort play by hour or event?
We play by event for ceremony, and by hour for Cocktail hour or dinner, (see our different packages with ceremony – cocktail – dinner).
Does Viol Consort play Destination Events?
Yes, we do play destination weddings all over Texas. (extra mileage might be charged depending location and performing time.) Please contact Sam at 956 280 6706 for extra mileage price tab.
If I’m not sure about the music for my wedding, would Viol consort help me?

What are the different ensembles that Viol Consort offers?
Viol Consort plays mostly quartet ensemble, but we also have trio for not so upbeat music, even duos for intimate events of less than 40 people. If you are interested in electric violin solo or duo, visit our website www.postmodern-strings.com for more information.
RGV mileage
Viol Consort plays at destination weddings, but if hired for only 1 hour outside the circle (45 miles aprox) at RGV, we charge a $40 extra per musician.
