Instructions

In order to book Viol Consort services you have to follow the link on top of this page on the button BOOKING FORM
Once we receive your information we will prepare a contract and will be email it to you in the next 72 hours. You will review the contract and once you approve it we can proceed with the down payment. We ask for 50% down payment and on the booking form you can choose the best way of making the payment. Balance should be done 15 days prior the event or earlier.

Terms

A.- Shade. Viol Consort does not perform under the direct ray of the sun. Shade must be provided by the Client at the performance location, or arranged with us in advance.

B.- Rain. Viol Consort does not perform in the rain under any circumstance. An indoor alternative is required for every outdoor event. Rain does not entitle a refund: the retainer is precisely what guarantees that we hold your date and that we are there.

C.- Attire in heat. For outdoor performances at 90 degrees or above, Viol Consort does not wear tuxedos. Khaki and other options are available; please contact us or check our website.

D.- Cancellation by the Client. The 50% retainer is non-refundable. It reserves your date, your musicians and the preparation of your program, and from the moment we receive it that date is closed to everyone else.

E.- Cancellation by Viol Consort. If a musician falls ill or faces an emergency, we replace that musician with another of equal quality and experience. Your event is not cancelled.

F.- Balance. The balance is due no later than 15 days before the event. If the day of the event arrives and the balance has not been paid, Viol Consort does not perform.

G.- Change of date. A change of date must be requested by email at least 3 months in advance and is subject to our availability. If one of your musicians is not available for the new date, the portion of the retainer corresponding to that musician is forfeited.

H.- Repertoire. You are welcome to choose the music to be performed at your event. If your list is not submitted at least 15 days before the event, Viol Consort will curate a program suited to your event and your venue.

I.- Changes of time or location. Must be requested by email and are subject to availability. We are not responsible for the lack of communication from any family member or event coordinator in this matter.

J.- Additional time on the day of the event. If you need more time and the musicians are available, additional performance time is billed in 30-minute blocks at 50% of the first-hour rate.
